The third Pull a Plane Challenge to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas is on Saturday!
This event will take place at the American Flight Museum on Forbes Field from 9 am to 3 pm this Saturday (June 9th). Teams of ten will compete against each other to see who can pull an 80,000-pound vintage airplane 40 feet in the least amount of time. You’re invited to come out and cheer the teams on!
All the teams will have two opportunities to pull the plane. Each team of 10 was asked to raise at least $1,000 total, which will directly benefit the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Topeka. In addition to the plane pulling competition, this FREE event will feature a car show, food vendors, live music, games for children of all ages, and fun for the entire family!
There will be trophies for the:
* Fastest Heavyweight Team (1,800 pounds or higher)
* Fastest Welterweight Team (less than 1,800 pounds)
* Top Individual Fundraiser
* Top Fundraising Team
